About 3 years ago, she began painting pathways and passages. This subject continues to interest her. as she worked with the subject matter, she began to see the theme in a more abstract level. A "passage" could be many things", stages of life, the journey of flowing water, trails of light, or the process of new construction in a city. The artist's fascination with this subject matter has to do with its' lure of the possibilities that lie beyond the passageway.
